Maximum Silence was part of this years Notte Bianca (Google Translation) which translates to Night White Woman and is a recent yearly festival which had the theme the world in one night this year. Maximum Silence was the creation of Giancarlo Neri where they setup 10,000 slowly color changing, luminous globes on the ground of the Circus Maximus. Below is a small gallery of the globes both day and night. There is also a You Tube video of the globes slowly changing color at night. |
