thejiggse and a few other co-workers were discussing this all-in-one beer brewing machine even before the link hit my aggregator. They must still read actual print media or something. Anyway, this self-contained brewing system takes the brewing process all the way from extract to pouring the finished product. The Popular Science article contains a slide show that outlines the brewing process the machine uses. Building this device took about three months with a total cost of $4,315. The machine is capable of serving up to four kinds of beer while fermenting a fifth and uses no power when not pouring or fermenting. |
