Violin Bottle Case

Everybody knows that if you want to transport an item safely that you want to employ a violin case. Actually besides musicians, I don’t know of anybody who would agree with that statement besides whoever came up with the idea to make a booze bottle sized violin style bottle case. I do understand that liquor bottles are typically made of glass and that glass can break, but it seems sort of silly to protect a $20 bottle of the sauce in a $40 case. Plus how often do folks take full bottles of alcohol on the road? All the negatives aside, for some reason I find the concept of a mini-violin case amusing and am trying to imagine what a similarly sized stringed instrument would look like and how useless it would be.
