Hello Kitty Credit Card

Hello Kitty Platinum Plus Visa As a precursor to printing its own currency and becoming fully autonomous, Sanrio and MBNA have teamed up to create the Hello Kitty Credit Card. Now you can advertise the Queen of Capitalism at the same time you buy your Hello Kitty related swag. The Hello Kitty Credit Card appears to have the standard set of rewards as Bank of America’s other World Points cards and is otherwise unremarkable. Still I am sure that somehow every use of this card further strengthens Hello Kitty’s quest for world domination.

  1. The Hello Kitty Credit Card made Credit Card Compares list of Novelty Plastic to Pimp Your Wallet (digg Referer). It came in at number seven behind the Looney Toons and Garfield cards.

  2. I don’t carry novelty plastic, but I do have Minnesota Twins checks. (Before those, we had Star Wars checks. Whales before that.)

  3. I don’t either though I guess I did have a William & Mary card from some bank at some point, but I canceld that a long time ago. Curse them for preying on me when I was a freshmen or something. I only use freebie checks from the bank, too. How boring.
