It takes a bit of effort to reload. You push one arm down against a spring, put in the ammo, while continuing to hold it down. Then you push down the second arm over the first, snapping it into place. The trigger releases the second arm, which releases the first, which chucks the duck, or nun, or pig, or whatever.
