Vector Tough Brite Stormtracker Being in a power outage caused by a storm can be no fun especially for prolonged periods of time. Assuming you have the whole food and water issues addressed, information and communication are also important needs. Vector Products, Inc. a division of Black & Decker has released a couple of TV/Radio/Flashlight units, the VEC135 and VEC136, that run on a variety of power methods to help address your informational needs. Both of these units feature a 5″ UHF/VHF black and white solid state TV, 7 channel NOAA weather frequencies, 120V AC and 12V DC adapters and a built-in hand crank that powers the lighting and radio functions for 15 minutes off of approximately two minutes of crank time. The VEC136 additionally includes an alarm clock, 6-LED area light, built-in cell phone charging port and adapters, a earphone jack, and a small LCD screen for S.A.M.E. funtionallity. You can purchase the Vector Tough Brite Stormtracker (VEC135) from Home Depot for $50 or Boat & RV Accessories has the Vector Elite Storm Tracker (VEC136) for $85.
